Jonathan Jakubowicz, who made a strong directing debut with Spanish thriller Secuestro Express, has been hired to helm an adaptation of Robert Ludlum’s The Sigma Protocol.
The plot focuses on an American economist who becomes the target of assassins, whose only hope of survival is a discredited US intelligence agent. The pair must go on the run and attempt to thwart a huge multinational conspiracy. It will come as no surprise that Robert Ludlum is also the man behind the Jason Bourne novels.
