Though he became famous for saying no a lot in films, Shia LaBeouf in real life seems to be saying 'yes' quite a bit to work at the moment. He’s already in talks to co-star with Robert De Niro in a true-life spy tale, and is currently also looking to join David Ayer’s Fury alongside Brad Pitt.

You may recall that, earlier in the month, Pitt jumped aboard the film, which finds a heroic US tank crew battling its way through enemy lines as World War II begins to wind down.

Ayer wrote the script, which he’s hoping will bring a realistic sheen to the war adventure genre, as the Sherman tank team tackle desperate German forces as the Nazi regime crumbles.

If LaBeouf signs on, he’ll be part of the crew and will be reporting for duty in September. The movie itself should be out in November next year.

Pitt is about to be seen in another World War – that would be World War Z– which arrives on June 21. LaBeouf has The Company You Keep arriving June 7 and Lars von Trier’s Nymphomaniac awaiting release. Ayer, meanwhile, is editing Arnold Schwarzenegger action thriller Ten, which lands next year.
