If you were one of those who flocked to see wooly Aardman creation Shaun The Sheep's first outing on the big screen, you'll no doubt be pleased to learn that he did well enough to score a sheepqu... Sequel.
Yes, the imaginatively titled (so far) Shaun The Sheep Movie 2 will see director Richard Starzak and producer Paul Kewley back at work in January looking to follow up their Oscar-nominated original. No story details were released, but expect Shaun and the gang to be off on another mad adventure.
"Shaun’s move to the big screen proved such a success with audiences around the world that he and the flock are very excited to be embarking on another big screen adventure," enthuses Aardman co-founder and executive chairman David Sproxton. "Aardman is partnering with StudioCanal once again to produce another rip-roaring comedy, featuring Shaun and the rest of the gang in a story that takes them to even greater heights of lunacy."
It's just the latest co-production between the two companies, which will next bring us Nick Park's latest, Early Man, due in January 2018 and featuring the voices of Eddie Redmayne and recent announced addition Tom Hiddleston.
