Now that Black Widow is close to release, Marvel is stepping up the promotional onslaught for Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings, which will broaden the MCU further by digging into the titular hero's (Simu Liu) background, troubled relationship with his father Wenwu, who is the actual, real Mandarin (Tony Leung) and some fast fighting action. Check out the latest trailer...

Shang-Chi finds Liu's conflicted hero forced to confront the past he thought he'd left behind when he's is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization. He'll face huge challenges, not least of which is his own dad, and the fact that Abomination – yes, Tim Roth's Incredible Hulkbeast form – pops up right at the end, and seems to be laying the smack down on poor old Wong (Benedict Wong) from Doctor Strange.

The martial arts clashes here are fast and furious, and some of the stunts evoke the loose-limbed style of Jackie Chan. Plus, Liu's hero has plenty of skill even before he gets near the power of the rings.

There's much more to recommend the film here, not least the presence of Michelle Yeoh as Shang-Chi's mother Jiang Nan, because who wouldn't want someone as kick-ass as Michelle Yeoh to be their mother? Awkwafina, Florian Munteanu, Ronny Chieng and And Fala Chen are also among the cast for the movie, which has Destin Daniel Cretton directing and arrives in cinemas on 3 September.
