Seth Rogen Faces The End Of The World

Now's the time to get religion, because the End is nigh, and things are going to get messy - at least for Seth Rogen and Jay Baruchel. The pair will star in the action comedy Jay And Seth Vs. The Apocalypse, but not, we're guessing, as any of the Four Horsemen thereof.

The disgustingly talented Rogen and his writing partner Evan Goldberg (the pair wrote **Superbad **together) are responsible for the script which, as the name implies, is about two ordinary guys (we're guessing the word "dudes" would not be inappropriate) caught up in the End of Days.

Baruchel, who appeared with Rogen in Knocked Up and in Undeclared years back, also appears in Tropic Thunder this summer, while you can get your Rogen fix in the very funny Pineapple Express in September.

This film's based on a short that the pair shot together last year, and will be produced by Rogen and Goldberg. There's no word on a director or other cast yet, but this announcement alone is enough to persuade us to order tickets in advance. Seth Rogen has a practically flawless CV so far, and movie apocalypses are always fun. Real ones, not so much.
