Most American sitcom stars and comedians can't wait to get into movies and rake in the dosh, but Jerry Seinfeld was quoted in the latest issue of Rolling Stone (out yesterday) as saying he has no plans to do so even though his hit show, Seinfeld, is about to end. "I don't like the size of movies," he says, "They're so ponderous, so invasive. And they're so self-important. And all that money that's spent. I'm not a maximizer, I'm a minimizer." The other members of the cast of the show have already had film careers, appearing in such films as Hannah and Her Sisters (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), Jurassic Park (Wayne Knight), Pretty Woman (Jason Alexander) and Unstrung Heroes (Michael Richards).
