A new American comedy that pokes fun at post-9/11 security arrangements? Expect it to either a) become a laugh-worthy film or b) get locked away in a vault without trial.
The brave souls behind Homeland Insecurity are Miramax and writer Robert J Siegel. The movie’s plot would see two everyday Arab-American types mistaken for terrorists while on a business trip to – where else? – Texas.
Siegel knows a thing or two about comedy: he used to edit The Onion. Let’s hope the movie makes it out alive…
