Sean Connery may be missing his 007 days, as the actor has just signed on to star in the post-Cold War thriller End Game, which is still hunting about for a suitable director. Variety reports that Connery will play a CIA agent who goes on an undercover mission to expose illegal arms dealers, but soon discovers he's merely a pawn trapped in a huge conspiracy.

The film is to be produced by Mandalay Pictures and should be underway by late spring.
