Good news for Twihards: Taylor Lautner's next film, Abduction, is moving ahead, with a new screenwriter aboard and a July shooting date set. Jeffrey Nachmanoff is the new writer on the project who'll be rushing to add shirtless scenes amp up the tension for the thriller as it nears production.

Originally written by Shawn Christensen, the film tells the story of a teenager alienated from his parents (cue brooding. The fans'll love it!) who discovers what looks like his own baby photo on a missing persons website. It's every surly teen's dream! That is, until things turn violent.

Lily Collins, of The Blind Side, is set to co-star, with John Singleton directing. And who's this Nachmanoff guy, we hear you cry? Does he deserve to be allowed near the so-hot-right-now Lautner? Well, he may have had his big break working on The Day After Tomorrow, but he went on to write and direct T****raitor, and recently wrote the Angelina Jolie / Johnny Depp-starring film The Tourist, which is currently shooting. And hey! What's good enough for His Deppness is good enough for Jake-Abs.
