Scream screenwriter enters Killing field

Kevin Williamson, writer of the post-modern slasher hit Scream (and its forthcoming sequel), has sold Killing Miss Tingle, the first script he ever wrote, to Miramax's Dimension Films. The movie will be about a young girl who will stop at nothing to graduate as valedictorian of her high school class. Needless to say, it's comedy with a jet black hue.
