Out Of Sight reunion klaxon! Admittedly with a slightly different professional relationship this time, but Scott Frank and Steven Soderbergh are back working together to help haul one of the former's dream projects out of limbo and on to Netflix.

Godless, which Frank has wanted to bring to the screen for years in some form or other, seemed to be showing signs of life recently when Frank said that Netflix was showing interest. Now it appears that it's moving forward, with Frank aboard to write and direct a still-mysterious series, and Soderbergh acting as executive producer.

The details remain shrouded in a dust cloud, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, it'll be a Western series set in 1884 that has yet to start rounding up a cast.

Unusually for Netflix's current push into running series, this will be a limited affair (but then, when you have the chance to work with Frank and Soderbergh, you go with what they want to do) and represents the latest TV project from Soderbergh, who already has medical drama The Knick in negotiations for a potential third series, and a show based on The Girlfriend Experience (with which he's only peripherally involved) on the way. Frank has written or directed episodes of several series and last tried to get to get a pilot based on Charles Willeford's Hoke Moseley books on the air.
