A smattering of celebrities turned up for the Scary Movie premiere in London last night and Empire Online was on hand to chat to two of the stars, Carmen Electra and Shannon Elizabeth who had crossed the Atlantic to promote the movie. Fans of the director Keenan Ivory Wayans were disappointed to learn that the director has hurt his back and been advised not to travel. Shannon Elizabeth, last seen in American Pie was convinced that Scary Movie out-grossed her last screen performance, 'because there's blood and guts and lots of penises. There's just a lot of weird stuff happening in this one.' 'It was a much bigger role for me,' she told us. 'It was more about comedy and making people laugh and jokes for me than American Pie was... I wasn't ditzy in high school, so I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to pull that off.' Meanwhile the lovely Carmen Electra was having a ball. 'I had fun, it wasn't like a job, it wasn't like work,' she said. 'I love comedy. I really have a silly side to me that people never get to see. I think now that people are going to see that I have a really good sense of humour about myself and I'm willing to make fun of myself.' After the movie the spoof theme continued at a party in Whitehall where bloodsplattered waiters served guests a variety of lethal cocktails and severed limbs and rubber knives were the order of the day.
