You'll know her as Will Ferrell’s hot, constantly-in-denial therapist in Step Brothers, but it seems that Andrea Savage’s funny bone extends to her hands as well as her cheeks.*
As well as joining Zach Galifianakis, Steve Carell and Paul Rudd in Dinner For Schmucks – Jay Roach’s modern redo of the 1998 French film The Dinner Game – Savage has signed up to write a comedy script for Castle Rock Entertainment focusing on five female friends who try to have a nice weekend away in Santa Fe.
And just to add to the “new Tina Fey” buzz, she’s also writing a half-hour pilot script for 20th Century Fox TV based on an idea she pitched and in which she should take the starring role. Any money on a new 30 Rock?
