Given how sensitive people have been about spoilers on this front, it's probably wise to kick things off with a big ol' SPOILER ALERT. Anything you read from here on in is at your own risk. Still with us? Right... You'll likely know that M. Night Shyamalan is finally making his Unbreakable sequel, and that it'll fold in characters from this year's Split. Now we also know that Sarah Paulson will be part of the cast.
As revealed by the director himself, Paulson will be playing a role in the movie, though Shyamalan is being predictably cryptic. Still, as shown by a scene at the end of Split, that film takes place in the Unbreakable universe, with Bruce Willis' David Dunn showing up in a diner.
Glass, which will blend the two movies, finds Willis' seemingly invulnerable superhero interacting again with Samuel L. Jackson's villainous Mr. Glass, and this time the story will also feature James McAvoy's Split character alongside Anya Taylor-Joy from the same movie. It'll be out in January 2019.
Paulson recently worked on Ocean's Eight, out on 22 June next year, and is shooting Steven Spielberg's The Papers.
