Here's some casting we're not sure we saw coming: Sandra Bullock is the latest addition to the ensemble for Brad Pitt-starring action thriller Bullet Train.
With David Leitch in the director's chair, working from a script by Zak Olkewicz (itself adapted from Kotaro Isaka's novel Maria Beetle), the movie finds a group of assassins (a murder of assassins?) on a speeding train discovering that their latest assignments are putting them at odds. At least, that appears to the story right now.
This one has been building a cast that could be the dictionary definition of "eclectic", with Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Zazie Beetz, Joey King, Michael Shannon, Logan Lerman, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada and Masi Oka all aboard.
We don't yet know what Bullock will be doing in the film, but now we do want to hear she's been going all John Wick – or Atomic Blonde – and training to kick ass for months...
