Sam Worthington has decided on his next project: he’s starring in The Fields for Ami Canaan Mann.
Mann, who you may have guessed, is the daughter of Michael Mann, is lining up to direct a script by Don Ferrarone.
The plot finds a Texas homicide detective (Worthington) who teams up with a New York ‘tec to investigate a series of unsolved murders in the Texas bayou.
It’ll shoot in Louisiana this April, and while The Hollywood Reporter brought the news of Worthington signing up, it wasthe team at Pajiba who actually broke the first word on the project last November, with Worthington and Bradley Cooper first linked to the starring roles, when the role was called The Texas Killing Fields.
