Just what is it with Sam Raimi and ordering people not to do things in the titles of horror movies he produces? Not content with Don't Breathe, he's now part of the team producing Don't Move.
The story, written by TJ Cimfel and David White, sees a seasoned killer injecting a grieving woman with a paralytic agent. She must run, fight and hide before her body completely shuts down.
And the new movie continues Raimi's run of backing films by duos who worked on his short-lived (in more than one respect Quibi horror series 50 States Of Fright, with Adam Schindler and Brian Netto behind the camera for this one.
"Alex and the team at Hammerstone as well as our friends at Capstone are the ideal production partners as we bring this compelling and twisted tale to light," says Raimi. "I am delighted to collaborate again with our co-directors Adam and Brian on this incredibly frightening and tense story full of so many twists and turns – it will deliver a fantastic horror punch to the audience!"
