Indie drama Beatriz At Dinner is building quite the cast, anchored by John Lithgow and Connie Britton. The new arrivals include Salma Hayek, Chloe Sevigny and Jay Duplass.
The indie talent continues behind the camera, with Cedar Rapids director Miguel Arteta working from a script by School Of Rock's Mike White. Not much is yet known about how the cast fits in to the plot, but we do know that it concerns a holistic medicine practitioner joining a dinner parter when her car breaks down at a wealthy client's house. We can only imagine that secrets will be shared and arguments flare.
Hayek will be heard in Sausage Party, which arrives here on September 2, while Sevigny, last seen in Love & Friendship, has several other movies awaiting release, including crime drama The Snowman. And in addition to his regular directing/producing work with brother Mark, Duplass continues to act in various movies and can be found on Amazon TV series Transparent.
