It’s been a few years since Sacha Baron Cohen led a big-screen comedy in the divisive Grimsby — and while things have been a little quiet in his camp recently, it looks like he might have cooked up a new satire in secret. The actor-comedian posted a video on Twitter that seems to suggest he’s got Trump in his sights for a new project.

Sacha Baron Cohen - Sacha Graduates

The clip uses archived footage of a pre-President Trump blasting Cohen’s undercover comedy stylings, where the then-reality star advised him to “go back to school, learn about being funny”. Well, it looks like Trump’s got his wish — title cards in the video tease that Cohen’s “back as you’ve never seen him before”, ending with the promise that “Sacha Graduates Soon” and capping it all off with the Trump University crest.

Whatever Cohen’s working on here it sounds like a welcome return to the political bear-poking of Ali G, Borat, and Brüno. Trump’s ill-advised University venture closed in 2010, and has been the focus of multiple legal cases. In short, there's plenty that Cohen can make fun of here – bring it on.
