Russell Brand is teasing his hair shagging a model voicing the Easter Bunny in new CG / live-action film I Hop*. Now I know what you're all thinking: there's no such thing as Russell Brand - but it's movie magic, so trust us, it could work.

The film sees an out-of-work slacker accidentally run over the Easter Bunny, injuring his leg. The slacker is then pressed into work as the Bunny's replacement / partner to save Easter (wait, didn't we see this before and wasn't it called The Santa Clause?), only for the two to bond when they realise they're both trying to avoid the responsibilities of adulthood.

The whole thing's set to be directed by Tim Hill, who of course brought us the Alvin and the Chipmunks film. Which, on the bright side, at least means he knows how to direct a mixture of CG and live-action. The script was written by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio, who also wrote Despicable Me, which also stars Brand - and the teaser for which is now online here.

*In the US, this is a clever play on the name of popular breakfast eaterie the International House of Pancakes, or IHOP. Over here, it doesn't really work so well.
