We've already had one family animated comedy where technology causes problems for humanity this year. But Ron's Gone Wrong, which comes from some of the team behind Arthur Christmas, including director Sarah Smith and co-writer Peter Baynham. Check out the trailer below.

The story follows Barney (Jack Dylan Grazer), a nerdy, slightly lonely lad who has had trouble making friends. He doesn't want to bring people home as his dad (Ed Helms) is a wacky inventor and his grandma Donka (Olivia Colman) is a quirk-tastic Bulgarian.

Imagine his joy, then, when Barney finally gets his hands on the year's must-have gadget, the B-Bot, which promises to be the most amazing communication and information device while also serving as a robo-pal to help you connect. Sadly for Barney, the bot he gets is Ron (Zach Galifianakis), who is, it must be said... a little malfunctioning. Okay, a lot malfunctioning. But maybe, just maybe, he'll turn out to be just what Barney needs.
