One of the bigger online outcries earlier this year was the reaction to Anna Paquin’s Rogue being edited out of X-Men: Days Of Future Past. Though Bryan Singer explained why he did it, he and Team X-Men have decided to bring out a new cut of the film that restores Rogue’s role to more than simply a fleeting glimpse.

So if you’re a big fan of the character and were planning to buy the Blu-ray (due here on November 10), you might want to hold off on that, because the “Rogue Cut” will arrive in the first half of 2015.

“It’s a big chunk, a substantial part of the movie,” writer/producer Simon Kinberg said about Paquin’s storyline in an announcement on Thursday. “We want to give fans the fullest picture of the film – behind the camera, and in front of it. Every movie has scenes that are cut out, but not every movie has scenes cut out with such a beloved character.”

Kinberg has been busy writing X-Men: Apocalypse while also overseeing other Fox comic book titles and giving his input to the ever-expanding **Star Wars **universe. It makes you wonder whether he discovered actual time travel while writing **Days Of Future Past **and has been using it to multitask. It's the only explanation.
