We Can Be Heroes

While it does not tend to release viewing figures for its shows and movies, Netflix has gotten into the habit of touting big successes such as recent arrival Bridgerton. Also finding a lot of eyes following its Christmas Day release is Robert Rodriguez' latest film, kids' superhero adventure We Can Be Heroes, and the filmmaker is now in the early stages of a sequel, per his tweet on the subject...

We Can Be Heroes, which starred the likes of Pedro Pascal, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Yaya Gosselin, follows what happens when a group of grown-up do-gooders knows as The Heroics are kidnapped by villains, leaving their kids to save the day. Despite mixed reviews, the movie hit the number one spot for kids' movies on the site in 88 countries.

Rodriguez, of course, is also involved in The Book Of Boba Fett, the Mandalorian spin-off due this year, so he'll be focusing on that before any Heroes follow-up. But given his usually prolific style, we'd be shocked if he didn't have something ready sooner rather than later.
