Robert Pattinson has forged a career working with interesting directors and largely sticking to indie stories featuring characters that challenge him. He's found another in Good Time, which has a new trailer online.
Josh and Ben Safdie are the directors here, following up 2014's Heaven Knows What with a tale of crime, desperation and a ticking clock.
Pattinson plays Constantine "Connie" Nikas, worried about his brother Nick (Ben Safdie) after a botched bank robbery lands his sibling in jail. Trying to stump up the bail money to get him out, Connie is faced with one frenzied night that descends into violence and madness, knowing all the while that both of their lives hang in the balance.
Good Time is winning praise for its kinetic visual style and Pattinson's typically committed performance, backed up by the likes of Jennifer Jason Leigh and Barkhad Abdi. It hits US cinemas on 11 August but has yet to nail down a UK release.
