Looks like David O. Russell just can’t stop bringing his Silver Linings Playbook troupe back together. After one reunion with** American Hustle**, the director has been looking to recruit Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper to appear alongside potential leading lady Jennifer Lawrence for his latest film, **Joy{ =nofollow}.

Lawrence is still not 100% confirmed for the film, though she’s certainly interested in re-teaming with the man who helped her to one Oscar and another nomination, the latter via American Hustle. If she does sign on, she’ll play Joy Mangano, a single mother of three who becomes one of America’s most famous entrepreneurs when she invents the Miracle Mop. Mangano went on to create several other products for her company before turning it over to the Home Shopping Network in a deal that made her a multi-millionaire.

De Niro confirmed during a recent event that he’s down to play Mangano’s father, while Russell, who re-wrote a script originated by Bridesmaids’ Annie Mumolo and has included a cameo for Cooper.

Assuming all the elements come together, the film should be ready for a Christmas 2015 release and likely awards run.
