Judd Apatow is already at work on his next film, The Bubble, which he's making for Netflix. But that isn't stopping him from adding a big extra group of actors, with Rob Delaney, Vir Das, Galen Hopper, Samson Kayo, Guz Khan, Nick Kocher, Ross Lee, Harry Trevaldwyn and Danielle Vitalis all now on board.
The Bubble, which Apatow wrote with Pam Brady, follows a group of actors and actresses stuck inside a pandemic bubble at a hotel attempting to complete a film. Inspiration apparently struck after Apatow learned of the experiences of those shooting Jurassic World: Dominion, with its quarantining protocols and stop-start production delays after positive Covid tests.
Delaney and the rest (whose characters are unknown for now) join a cast that already includes Pedro Pascal, Karen Gillan, Keegan-Michael Key, Iris Apatow, Fred Armisen, Maria Bakalova, David Duchovny, Leslie Mann and Peter Serafinowicz. Netflix has yet to announce a release date for the film.
