Director Mark Steven Johnson got an unjustly bad rap for Daredevil’s failure to perform to Spider-Man/X-Men levels. So there’s an awful lot riding – no pun intended, honest – on his next venture.
Ghost Rider’s case hasn’t been helped by the fact that the movie was bumped from a planned August release in the US to February (it’ll drive onto UK screens on March 23). The inevitable whispers suggested that there were problems, but from the evidence of these fresh trailers, it looks more like the team were, as they always claimed, simply hard at work getting the effects well and truly nailed.
Now we get our first proper, extended look at ol’ fire skull in action, with plenty of skeletal bike fun and a nod to Batman Forever (a hero’s vehicle driving up a building, anyone?) Cage seems suitably moody and Eva Mendes is always welcome on screen, so watch the trailers here.
