Ricci Takes The Helm

Having grown from the precocious child-star of Mermaids and The Addams Family to celebrated indie-queen, Christina Ricci now plans to make her mark behind the camera. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ricci has chosen dark comedy Speed Queen for her directorial debut. Also planning to star in the film, Ricci will play a fast-food employee who leaves her Mcjob to join a man and a woman on a road trip of crime and carnage. Finally brought to task for her crimes, the former burger-girl confesses all to a best-selling author while waiting for the end on death row.
