Ving Rhames has found two new films. The first, which he's producing, is a low-budget adaptation of Michael Henry Brown’s play 3/5 Of A Man.
The story focuses on Nat Turner, a slave who trued to incite a rebellion in 1831. Anthony Mackie, who appeared in Million Dollar Baby, will play Turner, with Rhames co-starring as his best friend, Hark. The likes of John Amos, Peter Dinklage and Dana Delany are also lined up. Akosua Busia, who co-wrote Beloved, will direct.
After that, Rhames will star in King Of The Avenue, a horror/drama written and directed by Ryan Combs. It’s about a drug dealer who sells his soul to the devil (Rhames).
