Our December issue sees misters Blonde, Brown, White, Orange and Pink star alongside a really nice guy called Eddie. Don’t worry, you haven’t gone back in time – it’s Reservoir Dogs’ 25th birthday! To celebrate the anniversary of Tarantino’s iconic 1992 film, we got the gang back together to tell the real story behind its making.
Unit photographer Linda R. Chen also exclusively shared some candid photos (and even more candid memories) from the set, one of which can be seen above.
“That’s Lawrence [Tierney] in shorts, looking pretty ridiculous,” Chen tells Empire. “It was incredibly hot. The actors wanted to wait until the very last minute to put their wardrobe on. And probably the clothes were getting squibbed anyway. Harvey [Keitel] wouldn’t take his off, because he’s Method. He can only get into character when he’s wearing the character’s clothes and shoes.”
To view more of Chen’s amazing photos, be sure to pick up a copy of our latest issue, available in all good – and, yes, evil – newsagents now.
