The combo of Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadotis surely one of the more compelling to strut across the screen in recent years and now here they all are in one place for Netflix's new action-adventure-heist-caper Red Notice. Check out the first trailer...
Coming across like a blend of Fast & Furious (though with fewer car stunts and people rumbling on about "family") and the likes of director Rawson Marshall Thurber's previous team-ups with The Rock (Central Intelligence and Skyscraper) with the usual quippy style you expect when Reynolds is on screen.
Here's the basic concept: When an Interpol-issued Red Notice — the highest level warrant to hunt and capture the world’s most wanted— goes out, the FBI’s top profiler John Hartley (Johnson) is on the case. His global pursuit finds him smack dab in the middle of a daring heist where he’s forced to partner with the world’s greatest art thief Nolan Booth (Reynolds) in order to catch the world’s most wanted art thief, “The Bishop” (Gadot). The high-flying adventure that ensues takes the trio around the world, across the dance floor, trapped in a secluded prison, into the jungle and, worst of all for them, constantly into each other’s company. And yes, you can expect plenty of barb-trading, punches and stunts.
Red Notice will arrive on Netflix on 12 November.
