Your film is called Red. So what colour do you make the poster? If you answered “teal”, go and stand at the back of the Movie Marketing Design Class with this dunce’s cap on… Because Summit Entertainment went with the expected colour for the first teaser poster from Bruce Willis’ latest action outing.
Red, based on Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner’s graphic novel, is the story of Frank Moses (Willis), a retired government assassin who holds far too many dark secrets in his head for his former bosses’ liking. So what do they do? Try to have him offed, naturally.
Thing is, that doesn’t sit too well with Frank, who is A) trying to get used to being retired in the first place and B) none too happy that the people he did all the dirty work for are repaying him by sending a team of high-tech killers to silence him. So he recruits a few fellow old hands (including Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman and John Malkovich) and decides to find out just who wants him gone.

**Red **(which, by the way, stands for Retired: Extremely Dangerous), arrives in our cinemas later this year.
