The social phenomenon of alleged devil-worshipping cults has struck a few times across history, but a new horror movie will instead focus on a young woman dealing with a very real, very dangerous situation. Rebecca Romijn is starring in Satanic Panic.
Hayley Griffith is starring in the movie, which sees her as a pizza delivery girl at the end of her financial rope who must fight for her life when her last order of the night turns out to be high society Satanists led by Romijn.
Griffith and Romijn will lead a cast that also includes Ruby Modine, Arden Myrin, Jerry O'Connell, AJ Bowen, Hannah Stocking, Michael Polish, Whitney Moore and Skeeta Jenkins. Director Chelsea Stardust will work from a script by Grady Hendrix, and the cameras will start rolling next week in Texas.
This represents a move by classic horror mag Fangoria into movie production, and from the looks of this, they're aiming for a classic terror trope with a new spin. There's no release date just yet.
