Most of what we know about Marvel's Disney+ series WandaVision was announced at the San Diego Comic-Con this year, but Kevin Feige brought stars Elisabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany out on stage at the D23 Expo and offered new details, including that Randall Park, Kat Dennings and Kathryn Hahn are all joining the series.

The six-episode series has Jac Shaffer on script duty and Matt Shakman directing, and looks to be a blend of 1950s sitcom and epic Marvel adventure. Feige promised it would be nothing like we've seen before, and while the cameras have yet to roll, the show's team brought a teaser reel that blended shots of Olsen and Bettany from their various MCU appearances with footage from, of all things, The Dick Van Dyke Show.

Park will reprise his role as Ant-Man And The Wasp's FBI agent Jimmy Woo, while Dennings returns as Darcy Lewis, usually found as Natalie Portman's science sidekick in the first two Thor movies. Hahn's character was described as a "nosey neighbour from a sitcom". How much that turns out to be true remains to be seen.

The new arrivals join Teyonah Parris, who was introduced at Comic-Con as the grown Monica Rambeau (AKA "Lt. Trouble" in Captain Marvel). WandaVision is scheduled to launch on Disney+ in spring 2021.
