They may not be on your radar yet, but the collective directing entity known as Radio Silence have scored some critical support with their segment of the throwback horror anthology V/H/S. A fully-fledged feature is a given as their next project, and they've opted for The Reawakening, tapping into the current vogue for found-footage horror, and Frankenstein projects.

Details are scarce, but the directing quartet - Matt Bettenelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett, Justin Martinez and Chad Villella - are currently negotiating with Lionsgate to bring Luke Dawson's script to the screen. Dawson previously wrote the US remake of Shutter, and The Reawakening is currently being described as a cross between Mary Shelley's 1818 masterpiece and Flatliners. We're tempted to guess that they were all spurred into action by Danny Boyle's stage version a little while ago.

How many of those will actually see the light of day is anyone's guess. First out of the gate though, and currently shooting, is Stuart Beattie's monster-in-the-future I, Frankenstein, based on Kevin Grevoux's comic, and starring Aaron Eckhart. Some pap shots recently sneaked online, so the next creature we see should be this one...
