After winning awards and acclaim at this year's Sundance and Palm Springs Film Festivals, writer/director/actor Radha Blank's The Forty-Year-Old Version is now headed to its new home at Netflix. And the streaming service has put a trailer online.

Blank plays Radha, a down-on-her-luck NY playwright, who is desperate for a breakthrough before 40. But when she foils what seems like her last shot at success, she’s left with no choice but to reinvent herself as rapper RadhaMUSPrime. The film follows Radha as she vacillates between the worlds of Hip Hop and theater on a quest to find her true voice.

From the looks of the film, it's a comic delight with messages layered in about performers finding their voice after a frustrating early career.
