The Amityville Horror’s Rachel Nichols will allow herself to be terrorised again – but this time, by Wes Bentley.
The two thesps have signed on to Summit Entertainment’s P2, which sees a corporate type (Nichols) working late on Christmas Eve. Alone in the office, she’s stalked by obsessed security guard Bentley. She has to rely on her wits and skills to survive.
It’s being brought to us by the behind High Tension and The Hills Have Eyes, Alexandre Aja and Gregory Levasseur. The pair co-wrote the script with Eyes editor Franck Khalfoun, who is stepping up to direct P2.
"With a strong plot in the vein of High Tension, P2 gives us a chance to further explore the survival aspect of the terror movie," Aja told The Hollywood Reporter. Fellow producer and Summit President Patrick Wachsberger added, "I love that the mechanism is very simple, yet at the same time, the setting is terrifying. What really drew me in was the strength of the protagonist - a woman in a dire situation who refuses to allow herself to be victimized."
