Musician Marilyn Manson is pulling together his directorial debut. He'll helm Phantasmagoria – The Visions Of Lewis Carroll. And he’s already earmarked the Carroll role for himself.
Manson also co-wrote the script with Anthony Silva and will score the music (he’s clearly taking a leaf out of Robert Rodriguez’s multi-tasking book). The film will tie Carroll’s life into his famous Phantasmagoria poem.
Model Lily Cole has signed on to play Alice, and Manson is hoping to get Angelina Jolie to play the Red Queen. Production cranks up this summer in Europe.
