We’re two days away from the Super Bowl – but that isn’t stopping film studios from dropping their ‘Big Game Spots’ a little early. Tiptoe-ing out before the American football quite literally kicks off is a new look at A Quiet Place: Part II – one that pictures the return of John Krasinski in front of the camera as well as behind. We already knew that the sequel would depict Day 1 of the alien invasion, as revealed in the first official trailer, and now we know for sure that that means we'll see from Krasinski as family patriarch Lee Abbott. Take a look here:
The main bulk of the film will see the family stepping out into the big bad world immediately after the events of the first movie. A new featurette has arrived expanding on that, with the cast talking up what to expect this time around. “Evelyn is now a single parent, newborn baby, the barn’s burned down, their house is destroyed, she’s out there on her own and she has to protect these children,” says Emily Blunt, Krasinski’s real-life partner, who returns alongside franchise newcomer Cillian Murphy. “She has to leave the path of safety and go into the unknown,” adds Krasinski, who returns as writer-director. Watch the full featurette here.
Keep an eye out for more Super Bowl spots and trailers arriving in the coming days – there’s a Fast & Furious 9 (or, F9) one incoming very soon – and creep to your local multiplex to see A Quiet Place: Part II on 19 March.
