The big business part of Sundance may be slowing – it’s custom for many of the executives to leave the town after the first week – but the deals continue to be struck.

The most recent two are IFC Films putting up $1 million to buy Wordplay, a documentary about a crossword tournament set up by Will Shortz, a word wizard and crossword editor for the New York Times, and Lionsgate purchasing rights to Chris Gorak’s Right At Your Door. The film follows the dramatic events after terrorists detonate a toxic weapon in LA and a man seals himself in his basement to avoid any fallout.

Lionsgate paid $2 million for the film, which stars Mary McCormack and CSI: Miami’s Rory Cochrane.
