With Project Power still squatting on the Top 10 list at Netflix, directors Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost are in demand and have scored a new job, according to Collider. They're signing on to make Nemesis for Warner Bros.
The film – which has seen script work from Promising Young Woman's Emerald Fennell and War Dogs' Stephen Chin – revolves around the concept of a genius engineer who witnesses the President of the United States committing a deadly crime. He teams up with a vigilante to take down the official and his corrupt government. So it's Batman meets... real life?
If comics readers are feeling that this is in anyway familiar, that might be because it's been developed, according to the man himself, from Mark Millar's Nemesis title, though it has changed considerably.
Joost and Schulman are also working on developing a couple of other movies, including environmental activist drama The Monkey Wrench Gang and a movie about a kid stealing their mother's credit card and running away to Bali.
