The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe has already earned $530 million worldwide, so it should come as no surprise that the next book in the Narnia series, Prince Caspian, is being geared up to follow its predecessor to the big screen.
The story sees the four Pevensie children return to Narnia, only to discover that hundreds of years have passed since they ruled there, and the evil King Miraz has taken charge. With the help of a heroic mouse called Reepicheep, and the exiled heir to the throne, Prince Caspian, they set out to overthrow the King, once again with Aslan's help.
Producers are currently beginning work on a script and are expected to find a director within the next few weeks. It's not yet confirmed whether Andrew Adamson will return. They hope to begin production by the end of this year.
