OK, we knew it was always going to be the number one slot for a certain boy wizard at the box-office this weekend but the true picture of Potter's hold over the public has come as a bit of shock even to Empire Online. The second instalment of Hogwarts magic, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, has made Warner Bros executives and, of course, J.K. herself, very happy indeed by a quite stunningly successful opening weekend. Banking an estimated total of $29.2m in the UK, Harry, Hermione and Ron's second outing trounced industry records set by their first screen appearance Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone last year, scoring the highest single day gross on Saturday with a whopping $6.7m and setting the record for the highest opening weekend without previews. So many people flocked to their local dream house to catch a glimpse of Gilderoy Lockhart in all his fine glory, that the movie's three-day total was higher than Spider-Man's box office haul by a huge 66% and even crushed the mighty George Lucas' takings for [**Star Wars: Episode I
