To celebrate our centenary, the **Empire Podcast **was recorded LIVE in front of a sell-out audience of lucky fans in Leicester Square's Prince Charles Cinema this week. Surprise guests included Ride Along's Ice Cube, who told us who'd win in a fight between George Clooney and David O. Russell, and We're The Millers' Will Poulter, who tried to explain how awkward it was spending days at a time kissing Jennifer Aniston and Emma Roberts.
Elsewhere, the team answer the audience's questions - "What's the most controversial movie controversy that wasn't really that much of a controversy?" is the level you can look forward to - the on-going Point Break remake accidentally gets a new actor to play Johnny Utah and it's finally revealed that The Book Thief is the first novel to feature subtitles.

P.P.S. Thank you to Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, and the Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 and Captain Phillips teams in particular, for their help with the spot prizes on the night. Also, thank YOU for listening to the podcast in the first place. We couldn't (and wouldn't) do it without you.
