She may still be one of the biggest stars on the planet, but it's been almost four years since Jennifer Lopez starred in a movie that could be deemed a hit. Monster-In-Law, in case you'd forgotten.
Of course she's been busy since, what with motherhood, but clearly it's time to get back on the horse, and so J-Lo (does anyone still call her that?) has signed on to star in the romantic comedy, Plan B.
Lopez will play a single woman who gives in to her ticking biological clock and opts for artificial insemination... but then she meets the man of her dreams on the same day that her pregnancy is confirmed!
Erm... we're struggling to see the conflict, or indeed the comedy here. After all, if the man of J-Lo's dreams is a nice guy, he'll accept the baby and they'll move on. But we'll see how this unfolds.
Kate Angelo wrote the screenplay for CBS Films, which is hoping to secure a director before the end of January, with shooting scheduled to begin in March or April.
