Rob Minkoff, a director with a little experience wrangling animals – having worked on The Lion King and both Stuart Little films – has been hired to deal with Bad Dogs.

The live-action plot chronicles the misadventures of two pooches who are sent to obedience school, but promptly escape into the Los Angeles Underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of for… Sorry, drifted off into the A-Team’s opening credits there. The parts about the two dogs and the obedience school and their escape are still relevant.

Mike Wilson, who has written drafts for Ice Age and Shark Tale, is re-writing a script by Mark Pressman and Drew Fellman.
