Depending on how you felt about the film, news that the recent CG/live-action on Peter Rabbit is getting a sequel will have you either reaching for a celebratory carrot or preparing a rabbit pie.
While it just about scraped a positive response from critics, the updated interpretation of Beatrix Potter's classic was a successful audiences, earning more than $115 million in the States and becoming Sony's biggest-ever non-Bond movie here in the UK, holding the top box office spot for four weeks and earning more than $55.7 million. Worldwide, the total ticked past $325 million. And yes, that's more than both Paddington films. Feel the rage building!
Writer/director Will Gluck will be back for the sequel, which has yet to announce any details. But it's already scheduled for a February 2020 release in the US, with the UK set to see the movie in March that year.
