If you've got a kid brother or sister aged between 8 and 13 and you think your parents would like an extended free trip to Australia, then the producers of Peter Pan have a proposal they may be interested in. The team behind PJ Hogan's new production of the JM Barrie children's story are looking for child stars for their film and they've announced an open casting call for all the roles from Peter Pan down to the Lost Children. 'We are hoping to open up the roles to children all over the world,' says the newly-launched website'. We know that Peter Pan as well as Wendy, John and Michael Darling are out there and we would like to find you.' The website goes on to list the qualities they're looking for in the main characters. Peter Pan is 'quite simply Errol Flynn aged 12 years old', while Wendy has a slightly larger remit; 'she has crossed the threshold into her teens and is confused yet exhilarated by her burgeoning sexuality.'
