It would just be far too easy to write a story about the very first picture of Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman and just post an empty image. Not that we're above such things you understand, not at all, but as luck would have it, a real image of Jessica Alba in costume as the fighting foursome's Invisible Woman, aka Sue Storm, has just been released. The image was printed in USA Today but thanks to the modern marvels of scanners and this interweb thingie, the shot is faithfully prepriduced here on this very page. So feast your eyes on the newly dye-jobbed star, sporting the character's trademark flaxen locks and filling out the fetching FF uniform in all the right ways. In fact, with Alba looking this good it's almost a crime that we're going to spend a goodly amount of the film not being able to see her at all. Damn you super powers! Damn yooou! Update: Some industrious soul has scanned in pix of the other three members of the group and you can view them all here First reaction? Michael Chiklis' The Thing has an undeniable air of Hellboy about him, but since Spectral Motion built the bodysuits for both flicks, that was perhaps inevitable. But it still works, and is a hell of a lot more convincing than the long-lens pap shots that have been all over the 'Net recently. Perhaps this Ben Grimm isn't as rocky or as bulky as the comics counterpart, but you have to remember that there's a real man inside there. Ioan Gruffudd's Reed looks suitably handsome/smug, while Chris Evans' Johnny Storm (The Human Torch), apart from being decidedly non-blond (he is meant to be Alba's brother), looks cool. Although until we see them stretch and burst into flame respectively, it's hard to judge. The costumes appear to be based more on the recent Ultimate Fantastic Four line, rather than the traditional FF comics and costumes that have been around since the '60s. But so far, so good...
