Payback Pays Off

Mel Gibson's latest offering has topped the box office according to studio estimates released on Sunday. 'Payback' - which sees Gibson playing an immoral anti-hero - raked in a staggering $21.4 million in its first weekend in North America, almost doubling earnings of previous top-spot holder, 'She's All That' which came in at a mere $12 million.
